Christian Service
Christian Service Program In addition to classroom work, all students are required to participate in the Christian Service program. Christian Service is a concrete way to put faith into practice. Our Statement of Core Values directs that “members of the Malvern community will respond to a call of service.” All Malvern Prep students are required to reflect the message of Christ and to live our mission as an Augustinian Catholic school through their service to others. We strongly believe in our commitment to serve others. We ask everyone to do Christian Service not community service. The difference – we follow Christ’s example and work directly with people in need. Many times we are asked to help with financial donations. We are eager to consider a request as long as the raised fund go directly to people in need. Midnight Run Donations Needed By: Larry Legner The next Midnight Run is scheduled for Sunday, January 18th. We need the following items to help the homeless we will be meeting. READ MORE... Donate Your Used Electronics to Support Christian Service Programs Point Person: Larry Legner, Christian Service Director - 484-595-1163 To help support the Senior Christian Service Program, the School is collecting electronic equipment. Every household gets new electronic equipment for Christmas. Please consider donating your old equipment for recycling. Mr. Legner is able to receive money for the following items: cell phones, ink jet cartridges, iPods, laptops, digital cameras, and digital video cameras. Please do NOT send printers or computers, as these are not accepted by the recycling program. |
