On May 30, 2006, the same day that Mr. James Stewart accepted his new title as President of Malvern Prep, the Board of Trustees announced that the Rev. James R. Flynn, O.S.A. accepted the role of Head of School, succeeding Mr. Stewart in this capacity.

Father Flynn, who has been a leader at Malvern Prep for more than 25 years, served as Assistant Head of School from 1997 until 2006. He is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Malvern, managing both the academic and programmatic aspects of school life and assuming the duties of the chief operating officer for the School.
