Malvern Prep and Villa Maria students teamed up to stage a dramatic performance of Living Stations of the Cross last Wednesday and Friday in the David J. Duffy, O.S.A. Arts Center.
These were not your ordinary Stations of the Cross. The Passion play was accompanied by a well-chosen set of modern songs from artists such as Pearl Jam and Neil Young performed by the Malvern Liturgical Music Group. The music set the tone for the performance, bringing out the human emotion of each station of Jesus’ suffering, sacrifice and ultimate triumph. The Living Stations were directed by Malvern teachers Jim Fry and Ed Liga, and featured Malvern senior Nate Tipton as Jesus.
More photos from the Living Stations can bee viewed in the Photo Gallery.
