Many years ago, a group of mothers came together upon their sons’ graduation and decided to stay connected to not only each other, but also to the School. This group eventually became known as the Malvern Alumni Mothers. These individuals continued their efforts by sponsoring social events, helping with Homecoming, and financially supporting the Malvern Theatre Society. We are truly grateful for all their contributions to Malvern, and it is with their vision in mind that we are proud to announce the formation of The St. Monica Society of Malvern Prep.
Building upon the tradition of the Malvern Alumni Mothers, The St. Monica Society of Malvern Prep is an organization for the families of alumni – mothers, fathers and grandparents alike. Malvern Prep prides itself on the family atmosphere that is created here – “Once a Friar, always Friar.” While this motto is often said to our current students and alumni, it is also true of our current and past families.
This organization will continue to foster and build upon the relationships and good work created by the Mothers’ Club and Fathers’ Club. It will work in tandem with these organizations, while also creating new opportunities through spiritual, social and service activities.
