Sophomore Timeline
	September- Check with your counselor if you have questions. Drop/add courses for both semesters. Reconnect with your counselor regarding PSAT Prep. Individual Meetings with your counselor (these may occur through Novemeber). October- All sophomores take the PSAT. Malvern Prep automatically signs you up for this test. Take a more active role in extra curricular activities. You will need 6 activity credits as a graduation requirement. It’s important to remember that schools want students with focused interests, not students who do everything. Quality over quanitity. December- Review your PSAT scores to structure your future test preparation. Be prepared for an abundance of college mail as a result of taking the PSAT. February- The scheduling process for junior year courses begins.  Consult with your counselor regarding course selection. March/April/May- Spring meetings with parents, students and counselor. Organize materials early for final exams since they count for 20% of your year-end grade.
