Imran Khan Joins Malvern Prep as Squash Coach

New Malvern Prep squash coach Imran Khan grew up watching and learning from the best squash players in the world. Coach Khan hails from the great Khan squash family of Pakistan, which to date has produced five British Open champions.

Malvern Seeks Alumni with Careers in Mathematics to Participate in New Mathematical Connections Activity

This fall, Malvern Prep will replace the mathematical extracurricular and enrichment activity “Mathletes” with a new activity called “Mathematical Connections.”  The activity will be open to interested juniors and seniors who want to broaden and enrich their experience of mathematics and at the same time explore applications of and careers in mathematics and related disciplines, according to Rev. Dr. Joseph Oechsle, math teacher and advisor to Mathematical Connections.
Jeff Cameron Joins Malvern Prep as Varsity Ice Hockey Coach

The Friars ice hockey team will have a new coach on the bench when they begin skating this winter.  Jeff Cameron, a Berwyn resident, takes over the team from Steve Mackell in the 2012-2013 season.

Paul Stockett Helps Bring Kids Triathlon to Malvern on Sunday, July 15

Paul Stockett '13 spent his first week of summer vacation working with poor children in Peru as part of the school’s Christian Service program, which takes juniors across the globe to directly aid people in need.  The Media resident is now working to bring a triathlon to local children in the hopes of raising much-needed funds for future community service endeavors.
Board of Trustees Welcomes New Chairman and Five New Members

Malvern Preparatory School welcomed a new Chairman and five new members to its Board of Trustees at its year-end meeting at Overbrook Golf Club on Tuesday, June 12.  Frank S. Hallinan, Esq. P’14 was installed as Chairman of the Board, accepting the gavel from outgoing Chairman Richard E. Devine Jr. ’76 P’03, who steps down after nine years on the Board.

Malvern Prep honors Class of 2012 at Final Chapel Service

Malvern Prep’s 111 members of the senior class were honored Monday morning during their final chapel service at the school. The ceremony was an opportunity for the underclassmen, faculty and senior parents to spend time with and acknowledge the Class of 2012, as the seniors prepared to depart for two weeks of international Christian service projects prior to their graduation on Thursday, June 7.
Malvern Prep Hosts Notre Dame Men's Lacrosse Graduation

For the twelve seniors on the Notre Dame men's lacrosse team, playing in the NCAA quarterfinals at PPL Park in Chester on May 20 meant a chance to move on to the Final Four and a possible NCAA Championship.  But it also meant they would not have the chance to graduate with their fellow Irish in South Bend. Enter Malvern Prep, which hosted graduation ceremonies for the twelve seniors on Saturday, May 19, at Our Mother of Good Counsel Chapel.
