Malvern Preparatory School is pleased to announce that it has named four new members to its Board of Trustees. The Board also named a new Trustee Emeriti at its year-end meeting at Overbrook Country Club.
The new Trustees are:
Stephen K. Cloetingh P’10,’13, executive vice president of Signal Holdings, LLC in Wayne.
Kevin M. Connor P'14, managing director with Planco, LLC in Chesterbrook.
Rev. Anthony M. Genovese, O.S.A., is Prior Provincial of the Augustinian Order, Province of St. Thomas of Villanova.
Rev. Gary N. McCloskey, O.S.A., is Executive Director of the Way of Life Center and Director of the Augustinian Friends, Province of St. Thomas of Villanova.
Also, Malvern Prep named former board chairman Victor Maggitti, Jr. P’02 GP’13’15, president of Vimco Concrete Accessories, Inc. of King of Prussia, as Trustee Emeriti. Maggitti was Chairman from 2007 to 2009 and, as Co-Chair of the $14 million Create + Strengthen + Embrace – The Vision for Malvern Campaign, he was a driving force behind the construction of the Duffy Arts Center and the Strength and Conditioning Center, the addition of air conditioning to Carney Hall and the growth of Malvern’s endowment. Maggitti has been a committed supporter of the School, who, among his many gifts, commissioned the St. Augustine – Teacher statue at the entrance of campus. Maggitti has also served as chair of the facilities committee and was heavily involved in the development committee.
Leaving the board this year are Robert P. DiMarco’81 P’04’06’09, Anthony J. DiValerio, Jr. P’07’08, Rev. Lee J. Makowski, O.S.A. Ph.D., and Rev. Donald F. Reilly, O.S.A. Malvern Prep thanks these board members for their years of dedicated and outstanding service to the School.
