Two Malvern students had their artwork selected for display in the McShain-Hortsmann Family Center at the Malvern St. Joseph-in-the-Hills Retreat Center, located across the street from Malvern Prep.
Bill Doughty’s '10 painting of St. Augustine and Austin Bury’s '11 painting of St. Monica will be place in permanent display on the walls of the Family Center. The Retreat House sponsored a local art project involving many of the Catholic schools in the area. Each school submitted two student paintings, one representing their school's saint and one additional saint.
The students were honored at an art show luncheon at the Family Center in May.
