The Malvern Men’s Chorus and the Notre Dame Women’s Choral combined for a signing celebration of Steve Dobrogosz’s choral masterwork, Mass, on May 7 in the Duffy Arts Center.

Mass is based on the Catholic Mass, which Dobrogosz, as a Polish-Italian Catholic growing up in Bellefonte, Pa., attended in Latin several times a week. Mass was written in 1992 and has been performed throughout North and South America and Europe.

The members of the Malvern Men’s Chorus are: Steve Borish, Bob Brown, John Cappelletti, Greg Hilditch, Ben Lodi, Trip Mansfield, Wil Marple, Dylan McParland, Kyle Naser, Tom Parvesse, Kevin Quinn, Chris Smart and Chris Tiberi. The Chorus is directed by Ed Liga.

The members of the Notre Dame Women’s Chorale are: Kathryn Bisbee, Michelle Dabkowski, Ellie Finkenaur, Marianne Gorsky, Emily Hallinan, Lindsay Hueston, Amanda Limoges, Christina Martin, Toni Mastropieri, Georgia McAdams, Tara McKiernan, Molly Petersen, Gracie Rosenbach, Elizabeth Sollecito, Megan Smith, Kaitlin Steinour and Ari Stockbridge. The Chorale is directed by Lindsay Miller.
