Mothers’ Club Annual Christmas Tea Kicks Off the Holiday Season at Malvern Prep
The Mothers’ Club kicked off the holiday season with its annual Christmas Tea on Wednesday, December 1 in Stewart Hall. Malvern moms and friends gathered to share a cup of tea or coffee and enjoy some tasty desserts, as well as help out a deserving charity.

During the tea, the Mothers’ Club collected donations of wrapped presents for the families served by Best Nest, Inc., a multi-service child welfare organization in Philadelphia that supports the medical, physical and emotional needs of children affected by HIV.

The Christmas Tea is a wonderful tradition at Malvern Prep, and this social and charitable event is one of the best-attended functions organized by the Mothers’ Club. The tea also featured a lively raffle, an ornament signing by artist Geri DiBiase, who hand-paints a limited-edition Malvern Christmas ornament each year, and special holiday deals from the Malvern campus store.

The Malvern Mothers’ Club president is Cathy Arpa of Wayne, and the Christmas Tea event chairs, are Lynn Biscoll of Media, Theresa Dolan of Malvern, and Carol Sorensen also of Malvern.
