Involvement Opportunities for Malvern Prep Alumni

Class Agent Program
The Class Agent Program is designed to keep a strong connection between Malvern and it's alumni. This is done through the work of the Class Agent collaboration with the development office. Class Agents are assigned to their year of graduation to act as a correspondent, solicitor, and liaison for Malvern to their peers. A detailed list of objectives and responsibilities are listed below.

Alumni Executive Board
The Alumni Association Executive Board is the governing organization that oversees all programs and activities related to the greater Alumni Association. It is comprised of no more than 20 members at any one time, including the four officer positions, serving up to two consecutive 2-year terms. Each member of the Alumni Board is a representative of the greater community, which is why we are working to recruit members who are located across the country and who have graduated from different decades.

Reunion Committees
Malvern Prep Alumni Reunion Weekend is held each year during the first weekend of May.  Each class needs a planning committee to choose locations, times and details of their reunion.  These committees generally meet 3-4 times throughout the year in order to finalize their classes’ reunion plans.

Christian and Community Involvement Committee
This committee is designed to create an alumni culture that is an extension of the Christian Service program of the current student body. We work closely with the student Christian Service Projects to create a sense of duty to oour community and to also serve as an example to current students; and show that there is still an expectation and responsibility to serve our community after our time as a student. This committee will serve to strengthen the bond between students and alumni on a spiritual level.
Alumni Golf Outing Committee
The Alumni Golf Outing Committee is in charge of planning and organizing the Annual Malvern Prep Alumni Golf Classic.  Members of the committee will be responsible for sponsorship solicitation and creative input.

Young Alumni Committee
The Young Alumni Committee is designed to increase Alumni involvement in the Malvern Prep Alumni Association. Young Alumni are any Alumni that are within 15 years of graduation from Malvern Prep. The committee organizes events such as happy hours, bowling events, tickets to sporting events and the Young Alumni Golf Outing.

Career Day
Alumni are welcome to come back and speak to the current senior class about the current industry or occupation.  Participants will help seniors with their career choice questions and interact with them on a peer level.

College Day
Alumni who are currently enrolled in college are able to come back and speak with the senior class about some of the topics and issues they will be facing as freshman in college. Topics such as choosing a major and dorm living are just a few examples of the topics that are addressed.
