Thanksgiving Food Drive - Oct. 21 to Nov. 18
	Point Person: Larry Legner, Director of Christian Service – 484-595-1163 Our annual canned food drive begins on Friday, October 21. As you are well aware, there are many families right here in Delaware and Chester counties who do not have enough food each day.   We are all fortunate not to be in that situation.  As Christians, it is our moral responsibility to help the less fortunate.  We can do that by sending in cans and boxes of food.  You can also send in cash or a check.  We make arrangements with food stores to purchase large quantities of cans at a reduced rate.  All food will be distributed to organizations in this area.  They are: St. Katharine Drexel Food Cupboard in Chester; St. Patrick’s in Malvern; and Covenant Presbyterian Church in Frazer.   Please consider hosting a food drive at your place of business.  Last year we collected 6,674 cans.  That is a lot of food that was able to be distributed to many hungry families.  Please help us with this project.  If you would like to send in a check please make it out to Malvern Prep.  Last year we collected over $4,000, which was used to purchase food.  The drive ends Friday, November, 18.
