The Malvern Preparatory School Alumni Association honored two dedicated Malvern faculty members, English teacher Sally A. Kelly and Head of Maintenance Bruce J. Smith, for 25 years of service to the school at the annual Father Duffy Alumni Christmas Party on Tuesday night, Dec. 13.
The party, which has become a valued tradition at the School, is named in honor of the late Malvern president, the Rev. David J. Duffy, O.S.A. ’48, and celebrates the faculty and staff who have dedicated 25 years of service to Malvern Prep. During the event, Malvern President Jim Stewart and Malvern Alumni Association President Rob Tribuiani ’86 lauded Sally and Bruce for their service and commitment to Malvern Prep. The evening also provided an opportunity for alumni to reconnect before the holidays.

Tribuiani also took a moment to honor Jim Stewart for his 42 years of service to Malvern, presenting the president with a check for $2000 from the Alumni Association for the Rev. David J. Duffy, O.S.A. Augustinian Scholars Fund. Stewart, in turn, dedicated the money to help endow the Erika Hornsleth Augustinian Scholarship Fund.
