Fran McArdle, a senior midfielder for Malvern Prep’s lacrosse team, will play Division I lacrosse at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT.
A three-year member of the Varsity squad, Fran was a contributor on the Friars’ Inter-Ac League championship team as a sophomore, and reached the Inter-Ac Invitational finals in 2011. He made the All-Star Game at the Top 205 camp, and plays club lacrosse for Old School Lacrosse club.
A defensive back on the Friars’ Inter-Ac championship football team, Fran is also a volunteer for the Evanfest Youth Lacrosse Festival and participated in Malvern’s C.A.R.E.S. Walk. A West Chester resident, he is the son of Frank and Jackie McArdle.
