Congratulations to Shawn Wilson '12, who will be one of six area seniors to compete for Team Stars & Stripes in the 2012 Global Bowl. Shawn and his teammates, including 40 players from across the country, will travel to Italy from April 14-22 to take part in the April 21 game against the Italian National U19 Team.
The 5'10", 190-lb. senior running back ran for 800 yards in helping the Friars capture the Inter-Ac championship with a record of 9-2. Wilson ran for 186 yards and four touchdowns, capped by a 75-yarder in the fourth quarter, in Malvern's 42-6 Homecoming victory over visiting Penn Charter on October 22.
