Kenneth DeStefano, a senior defensive back for Malvern Prep's 2011 Inter-Ac champion soccer team, will continue his studies and play soccer for Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland.
A four-year member of the Varsity squad, Kenny also played club soccer for Penn Fusion, winning a State Cup championship in 2008 and advancing to the National Games in 2009 and 2011. As a youth he played in the Marple intramural league and for the Marple travel team. He was also a member of Malvern Prep's varsity track team for four years, being named All-Inter-Ac in 2010, and was the starting center for the freshman basketball team in 2008.
A member of the National Honor Society, Kenny is active with the Fising Club, Mathletes and the Speak Up committee. A Broomall resident, he is the son of Marie and Steve DeStefano.
