Join Malvern Rowing!
Malvern Rowing won FIVE titles in 2012 including TWO National Championships, TWENTY FOUR National Championships in nine years, and in the past ten years more than FORTY rowers were recruited and accepted to row in college. Top selections included Penn, Cornell, St. Joe’s, Columbia and Princeton.

The Malvern Prep Rowing Team participates in single sculling in the fall season in various regattas (local, out of town and overseas) held on weekends throughout October and November.

Training consists of Monday through Saturday workouts on the river.
Bus transportation is provided and leaves from the Malvern Prep Rowing Center at 3:30 pm Monday through Friday to our rowing facility located at 601 Washington Street Conshohocken. The bus returns to Malvern Prep Rowing Center at 7:00 pm.

Indoor training at the Malvern Prep Rowing Center begins in mid-November and continues through February for the spring regatta season.

Malvern Rowing Coach Craig Hoffman is the Head Rowing Coach for the 19th Maccabiah Games 2013

The Open Rowing team that will participate in the 19th Maccabiah USA Games in July will be coached by Craig Hoffman, a member of the Philadelphia Jewish Sports Hall of Fame. Hoffman is currently the head rowing coach at Malvern Prep and is one of the most respected technical rowing coaches in the country. As the USA rowing coach at the 1997 and 2009 Maccabiah Games, Hoffman’s squads have won 15 gold medals and one bronze in 16 events. Read More
