The Chester County Health Department recommended the following information be shared with you.
“The department continued to receive reports of Pertussis during the summer. There is an anticipation of a continuation of cases and, unfortunately, outbreaks may occur during the 2012-2013 school year. Public health reporting and protocols have not changed. If a report of Pertussis is identified at Malvern, the report will be verified by the Health Department and any information needed for dissemination will be emailed to the school nurse, with a copy going to the Head of School.
