Celebrating the Holidays at the Father Duffy Alumni Christmas Party

Christmas spirit was abundant in Stewart Hall on Thursday, December 19, as Malvern Prep alumni, faculty, and staff gathered for the annual Father Duffy Christmas Party. The cherished event brought together members of the Malvern Prep Community to celebrate the season and reconnect with one another.

Director of Alumni Relations, Mrs. Mary Fran Frankenheimer P’21, expressed her excitement about the evening, saying, “The Father Duffy Alumni Christmas Party is one of my favorite events of the year. I love reconnecting with alumni throughout the years and creating holiday memories that reflect the close bonds of our community.”

Former Chair of the Board, Mr. Joseph H. Davis III ’90 P’21 PT, was honored for his service and commitment to the school. He received the Alumni Loyalty Award.

This year, the Malvern Prep Community also celebrated recently retired faculty members Kevin McCarry and John Ostick P’00’07’13 after their 45 and 39 years of service, respectively. Both were recognized for their remarkable contributions to Malvern Prep.

In the spirit of giving, many attendees contributed new or gently used coats to benefit the St. Francis Inn, a Catholic Franciscan soup kitchen and social service center serving Philadelphia's Kensington neighborhood since 1979.

Thank you to all who attended! The Father Duffy Alumni Christmas Party continues to be a highlight of the Christmas season for the Malvern Prep Community!
