Zach DeStefano '17 Receives Villanova's Medallion of Excellence

Zach DeStefano '17, a recent Computer Science graduate of the Honors Program at Villanova University and member of the Villanova Men’s Rowing Team, was named for the second consecutive year to the Mid-Atlantic Rowing Conference Academic All-Conference Team. In addition, Zach won Villanova’s Virtual Reality programming competition helping the Villanova community explore virtual reality and augmented reality as a medium for compelling interactive experiences that educate. At graduation ceremonies this spring, Zach was awarded Villanova’s Medallion of Excellence for the Computer Science department and has accepted a MacCracken Fellowship to NYU for the fall to continue his research in cryptography and computer science.
