The Malvern Prep Athletics Department is proud to announce that Paul O’Grady, Assistant Lacrosse Coach and Defensive Coordinator for the Malvern Prep lacrosse program, has been selected for induction into the Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the USA Lacrosse Hall of Fame. Coach O’Grady has been an assistant at Malvern Prep over multiple years, most recently assisting during the 2019, 2021, 2022, and 2023 Inter-Ac winning seasons.
Paul is a 1985 graduate of the Haverford School where he was an All-Inter-Ac and All-State midfielder as well as a member of the 1985 State Championship team. He went on to play Division 1 lacrosse at Villanova University. His post-collegiate career included playing for the Eagles Eye Lacrosse Club in the USCLA and the National Lacrosse League (NLL) as a member of the Philadelphia Wings, where he won three NLL Championships.
Coach O’Grady and his fellow inductees will be celebrated this Saturday, September 9, at their induction ceremony and reception at United Sports Training Center.
