Conaway '26 Wins 2022 Bert Linton Golf Championship

The 2022 Bert Linton Golf Championship was held on Wednesday, October 26, at Llanerch CC (Par 71). This is an 18-hole stroke play event open to the top 18 players in the Inter-Ac based on performance in the six (6) league invitationals.

MP Freshman Davis Conaway fired a 1-over par 72 to win by a shot over Ajeet Bagga (GA). Conaway recorded birdies on holes 6, 7, and 16 and needed to make birdie on the final hole to have any chance of taking home the title. His drive on the 18th hole (par 4 305 yards) landed ON THE GREEN, 20 feet above the hole. After missing his downhill eagle putt, he calmly sank his birdie putt to secure the victory (Bagga bogeyed the hole to finish 1 shot back). Conaway becomes only the 3rd player in MP Golf history to win The Bert Linton Championship as a freshman.
