Head Rowing Coach James Konopka Named to USRowing 2025 Under 19 National Team Coaching Staff
Malvern Prep Head Rowing Coach, James Konopka, has been selected for the USRowing 2025 Under 19 National Team coaching staff, which will lead the team that will represent the United States at the 2025 World Rowing Championships this August in Trakai, Lithuania.
James will be one of the men's boat coaches alongside men's head coach Eric Gehrke for the under 19 program. In 2024, James assisted with the U23 men’s quadruple sculls, which went on to set an American record and finished ninth at the World Rowing Championships in St. Catharines, Canada.
