Malvern Prep Golf Ties for First Place at PAISAA Championship

The Malvern Prep Varsity Golf Team finished its season impressively, tying for first place at the 2025 Pennsylvania Independent School Athletic Association (PAISAA) Championship held at Radley Run Country Club on Monday, October 27. The Friars matched Episcopal Academy with a team score of 302, securing a share of the PAISSA title in a tightly contested tournament.

The victory was highlighted by a stellar performance from junior Colby Komancheck ’27, who earned medalist honors with an outstanding 3-under-par, for a score of 69, a round that featured seven birdies! His sharp play led the way for Malvern’s balanced team effort.

Senior captain Davis Conaway ’26 posted a solid 2-over, for a 74, followed by Noah Brand ’26 with a 79. Senior captain Thomas Ploszay ’26 contributed a steady round of 80. While Pat Duda ’26, along with Will Shuford ’26, contributed scores of 81.

The Friars’ co-championship win adds another chapter to Malvern Prep Golf’s tradition of excellence. Congratulations to the Friars on their impressive win!
