Paul Edwards ’10 Named Malvern Prep Head Swimming and Diving Coach

Jim Stewart, Jr. ’86, Head of Athletics, announced this week that Paul Edwards ’10 has accepted the position of Malvern Prep Head Varsity Swimming and Diving Coach. Coach Edwards is a proud Malvern Prep swimming alum and served last year as the Assistant Varsity Coach for Malvern Prep. Prior to his time at Malvern, he held coaching positions at the Lower Merion Aquatic Club and Karakung Swim Club. 

Mr. Stewart remarked, “Having gotten to know Coach Edwards over the last year, he is truly dedicated to our mission, our students, and will now lead our swimming and diving team. We are looking forward to continuing our proud tradition of Swimming & Diving on Warren Avenue under his leadership.”

Coach Edwards swam four varsity seasons at Malvern Prep under Coaches Paul Hornsleth and Jay Schiller from 2006-2010. He then continued his academic and athletic career at Franklin & Marshall, where he competed on their swim team from 2010-2014.
