Business Ethics Class Meets with Dr. Rushika Fernandopulle, AB, MD, MPP

On Friday, April 28, Mrs. Kenworthey's Business Ethics class had a Google Meet session with Dr. Rushika Fernandopulle, AB, MD, MPP, on the topic of the Healthcare industry. He shared his experiences as the co-founder and CEO of Iora Healthcare. Iora was purchased by One Medical, which was recently acquired by Amazon. Dr. Fernandopulle's goal in working with Iora/One Medical is to transform primary care practices, especially for lower-income populations. The students were very grateful to hear about his experiences and curated a list of questions for him to answer. 

Dr. Fernandopulle earned his A.B., M.D., and M.P.P. (Masters in Public Policy) from Harvard University, and completed his clinical training at the University of Pennsylvania and the Massachusetts General Hospital. He is a practicing physician and co-founder and CEO of Iora Health, a venture backed, national de-novo primary care group based in Boston, MA.
