Chapel Bells Ring Again on Campus

For the past two years, the bells of Our Mother of Good Counsel Chapel have remained silenced after being damaged by a lightning strike. But today, that silence was broken. Thanks to a generous gift from the Wesselt family, the sound of the chapel bells once again echoed across campus.

The Wesselt Family donated the funds necessary to restore the bells in loving memory of their matriarch, Francis Wesselt. Their generosity honored a legacy rooted in faith, family, and community.

“The chapel bells have long served as the proverbial heartbeat of our campus … thanks to the incredible generosity of the Wesselt Family, that spirit now rings out again,” shared Mr. Patrick Sillup, Head of School.

The renewed tolling of the bells stands as a tribute to the enduring impact one family can make on the life of our school.
