Dr. Poce Presents at Association of Applied Sport Psychology’s Mid-Atlantic Conference

Upper School teacher, Dr. Rick Poce, presented a workshop at the Association of Applied Sport Psychology’s Mid-Atlantic conference on February 24 at Rowan University entitled “Building a Mental Performance Program in the Middle and High School Setting.”

Using Malvern Prep’s Pursuing Excellence and Sports Psychology classes as a paradigm, Dr. Poce discussed ways to integrate performance-based skills into a curriculum and offered suggestions on how to integrate mental skills into classes, workshops, and microcourses across a variety of school settings.
