Living Stations Come to Life in Duffy Theatre

Now in its 17th year, the Living Stations again came to life on the Duffy Arts stage this week. This year’s Tableau Passion Play featured student performers from Malvern Prep and Villa Maria Academy, accompanied by contemporary music performed by the Malvern Men’s Chorus.

Under the student leadership of senior directors Nolan Murphy ’25, Nick Gazzillo ’25, and Evan Cooper ’25, the performance offered a moving and powerful depiction of Christ’s passion and resurrection. A highlight of this year’s production was the debut of 6th grader Keegan Heffelfinger, who delivered a touching solo performance of Neil Young’s “Philadelphia.”

Special thanks to those who made this production possible, including the talented student performers, Mr. Ed Liga (musical direction), Mr. Rob Muntz P’26'30 (lighting and sound direction), and guitar accompaniment by Mr. Jason Sammartino ’04.
