Malvern Prep Community Celebrates Day of Gratitude

On Tuesday, November 14, Malvern Prep welcomed parents and guardians to campus to participate in a Christian Service project with their son. Over 100 parents/guardians joined our students in constructing 86 blankets for Malvern Prep’s Comfy Covers Program on this Day of Gratitude.

The Day of Gratitude began in the Quad with a community prayer service - a reminder to begin every day with a grateful heart. Following the service, parents/guardians and students constructed blankets in Dougherty Hall for Comfy Covers - an organization that makes and delivers blankets to the homeless in Philadelphia.

The day was organized by Mrs. Kelly Catania P'21'23, Director of Christian Service who said, "Our first Day of Gratitude was a huge success. We were happy to offer a way for parents to participate in our Christian Service Program with their sons. We look forward to finding additional opportunities to bring the community together for service."

We are grateful to all members of the Malvern Prep Community for making this a successful event!
