Malvern Prep Honors Vincent Ayala '26 on Appointment to the United States Naval Academy

The Malvern Prep Community gathered today to proudly recognize Vincent Ayala '26, who will continue his journey of service to our country at the United States Naval Academy.

Mrs. Suzanne Sweeney Berlacher, 12th Grade Faculty Academy Leader, addressed Vincent on receiving this prestigious appointment, remarking, “Your dedication and perseverance represent some of Malvern’s highest ideals: integrity, responsibility, unity, courage, and love for others and the community. As you follow in the footsteps of our military alumni, know that you carry forward a proud tradition of leadership, and we are excited to celebrate your commitment to service.”

The appointment was presented by Mr. Eric Moore, a 2002 graduate of Malvern Prep and a 2006 graduate of the United States Naval Academy. In his remarks, he emphasized the exceptional nature of this honor and highlighted Vincent’s accolades. “I commend you for raising your hand and being willing to take the oath of office to support and defend the Constitution; protect our people, our country, our way of life, and protect people around the world who cannot protect themselves.” 

In accepting this appointment, Vincent joins a proud lineage of Malvern alumni who have answered the call to serve. His dedication reflects everything this community stands for, and we could not be more honored to celebrate him. May he carry the Malvern spirit with him every step of the way.
