On the Road with St. Augustine - Parent Education Program

Join Mr. Ron Algeo, Associate Head of School, and Dr. Rick Poce, Character Development Coordinator, for our Parent Education Program. This program provides parents/guardians with the opportunity to continue their own learning in order to model the same growth mindset that is fostered with our students every day.

This program will:

• Provide parents/guardians with an experience of what it is like to learn at Malvern Prep, one that is engaging, interactive, collaborative, and impact-oriented.
• Provide attendees with an opportunity to learn more about our patron, St. Augustine, and gain an understanding of the alignment between St. Augustine’s teaching, practices, rhetoric, and Malvern Prep's pedagogy.

Classes will take place over the course of the spring. You may register to attend one, a few, or all of the classes. The class will use St. Augustine's, Confessions, as a framework to bridge Augustine to our times (which we try to do with the seniors). We will discuss short excerpts from the Confessions during each class and learn how St. Augustine's life and spirituality offer a way of living that can bring us closer to God. 

Dates: Tuesdays - March 19, April 2, 16 & 30
Time: 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
*Location will be determined based on the number of registrants and will be communicated prior to the event
