Alumni Board

Mission

The members of the Alumni Association of Malvern Preparatory School, are recognized as the beneficiaries of a Malvern Prep education. We will work in unison with the School and the Alumni Association Executive Board to proactively create and foster goodwill among fellow alumni - past, present, and future - by creating, building, and sustaining a lifetime of connections. Although our days as Malvern students are behind us, the members of the Alumni Association will continue to be active in a family atmosphere distinguished by respect, challenge, responsibility, knowledge, and exceptional love.

Letter from the President

Dear Malvern Brothers,

It is an honor to serve as your Alumni Association Board President. The Alumni Board exists as a selected group of your peers to maintain your connections with Malvern Prep after graduation and to keep our alumni base of over 4,000 members engaged with each other and the school community.

The Alumni Association sponsors annual events such as Homecoming, Reunion, the Alumni Golf Outing, Alumni 5k, and the Fr. Duffy Alumni Christmas Party to name a few. To encourage communication among your classmates we maintain an active Class Agents program and are excited to introduce our new online networking tool, Alumnifire. This tool will help facilitate networking among all active alumni and provide real-time opportunities for career mentoring and employment in a variety of industry groups. The Alumni Board is also tasked with honoring outstanding alumni through various awards, including our Athletic Hall of Fame recipients who are honored during Homecoming and Reunion Weekend. As ambassadors for the school, the Alumni Board works to encourage alumni to give back to ensure that current and future students can continue our legacy.

I strongly encourage you to consider participating in as many of the above activities as you are able. Participating in alumni events helps us strengthen familiar bonds and forge new connections. It has been a pleasure for me to work with many of your over the last decade as a member of the Alumni Board. I am looking forward to continuing our work during my tenure as Alumni Board President. If you are interested in getting involved, please connect with us through Alumnifire, contact your Class Agent, reach out to Matt McManus '08, Director of Alumni Relations, or contact me directly.

We are all linked through our shared Malvern experience and our learned Augustinian values of Veritas, Unitas, and Caritas. I am confident that our alumni will continue to lead by example and inspire all you encounter to make this world a better place.
