Danny Riely ’26 Named Inter-Ac Athletic Directors Scholar-Athlete

On Wednesday, May 6, the Inter-Ac Athletic Directors held its annual banquet honoring scholar-athletes from each member school. This prestigious award is presented each year to senior student-athletes who excel in multiple varsity sports while demonstrating outstanding leadership, sportsmanship, and dedication to their school communities.

Malvern Prep Athletics is proud to announce that Danny Riely ’26 has been selected as Malvern Prep’s Inter-Ac Scholar-Athlete award recipient.

Danny has enjoyed a distinguished athletic career at Malvern Prep as a midfielder on the lacrosse team and a running back/defensive back on the football team. Over his four years, he earned eight varsity letters, four in football and four in lacrosse, while also receiving All-Inter-Ac honors in both sports. This year, Danny served as captain of both programs, further exemplifying his leadership and commitment to Malvern Prep Athletics.

In the fall, Danny will attend the University of Notre Dame, where he will continue both his academic and athletic career as a member of the lacrosse program.
