The MP Varsity Golf Team defeated visiting St. Joe's Prep by a score of 183 - 197 at Waynesborough CC (par 35) on Thursday 10/3.

Eamon Cochran '25 and Colby Komancheck '27 led the Friars by posting 1-over-par scores of 36 each. Michael Henry '25, Davis Conaway '26, and Will Shuford '26 each followed with a 2-over-par 37. Pat Duda '26 and Logan Turley '25 chipped in with 38 each. Brody Bell '25 rounded out the team scoring with a 40.

Malvern spotted EA a 4-goal lead to start the game and never was able to fully bounce back in its Inter-Ac league opener at EA. Connor Treston '25 led Malvern with 6 goals and 2 assists while Luke McGovern '25 had 4 goals, an assist, and 5 drawn ejections.

Pat Duda '26 birdied the 10th and 18th holes and Michael DiDomenico '27 birdied the 12th hole against 2 bogeys to each post 1-over par scores of 37. Davis Conaway '26 fired a 2-over 38 while Michael Henry '25 and Brody Bell '25 each posted scores of 3-over 39.
