The St. Augustine Center is 3,500 square feet and was constructed in the open space between Carney and Sullivan Halls. The St. Augustine Center now connects the building for the combined square footage of 52,000 ft. Highlights of the building include a large common area/collaboration space, moveable furniture, the Living Lab, the Greenhouse, 13 lab spaces, the Robotics & Engineering Workshop, and Upper School Faculty Hubs.
Sullivan Hall is home to 13 lab spaces shared with The St. Augustine Center for Social Impact. The lab spaces are utilized by Upper and Middle School students and allow them to scale their research to new levels. There are also classroom spaces for instruction and group work.
Good Counsel Hall is home to our Middle School students. With a number of classrooms and collaborative workspaces, students are able to participate in grade-wide projects which connect them to their peers and focus on how they can make an impact.
Tolentine Hall was one of the first buildings constructed on campus in 1923. The building houses the Offices of the Assistant Heads of School, IT staff, classroom space, as well as school and college counseling departments.
The Outdoor Classroom is available for teachers to use on campus.
The 8th Grade Community Garden is managed by that year's 8th Grade Class. They are responsible for taking care of the garden, harvesting, and making any upgrades to the space.
The O'Neill Sports Center was completed in 1999 and includes a basketball arena, squash courts, indoor pool, and an athletic training and rehabilitation facility.
Dougherty Hall houses Malvern's Strength & Conditioning Center.
Malvern is one of two schools in the Philadelphia rea to offer an indoor rowing center for our athletes to practice in.
The Pellegrini Athletic Complex includes a full turf football field, track, and tennis courts.
Malvern's Wrestling Center is housed in Alumni Hall.
Stewart Hall is home to our Dining Hall. Malvern's Dining Services team provides fresh, delicious food for our students, faculty, and staff in an inviting, safe, and sociable environment.
The St. Augustine Friary is where our Friars live. Malvern currently has five Friars on campus.
The Maintenance Facility is at the back of our campus and it is where our Maintenance Team operates out of. They store any extra school materials, as well as any tools, materials, or machines needed for projects that take place across campus.
Built in 1953, the Chapel was expanded on in 2013 to provide enough room for the entire student body. Malvern Prep welcomes and celebrates students of all faiths and we provide a number of opportunities to strengthen that faith. The Chapel is used for daily prayer, weekly Mass, morning reflections, guest speakers, and special events.
Austin Hall is home to the Office of the Head of School, as well as several administrative offices including the Business Office, Human Relations, and the Office of Advancement - which includes Admissions, Development, and Marketing
Anyone who comes to campus must check-in at the Visitor Center. This building is located in our visitor parking lot.
The Duffy Arts Center opened in 2008 and this 30,000 square-foot building is the artistic heart of our campus. It contains a 585-seat theatre with a full costume and prop shop, wet darkroom, 65-seat jazz studio, ceramic studio with 15 pottery wheels and 5 kilns, a Steinway piano, graphic arts studio, a recording studio, and band rooms.
