Job Summary:
We are seeking a Spanish educator that has both depth and breadth of content expertise to team with our World Languages department as well as a Grade Level Academy Team. Applicants should have experience with student-centered educational practices, a broad array of assessment strategies, and be comfortable with teaching a variety of learners across all levels of Spanish (Level I through AP). This position may also include teaching one section of Middle School introductory Spanish. Applicants are expected to be proficient with various forms of communication and instructional technology. Applicants will also be expected to be involved with co-curricular activities and/or mentoring students. In addition, we are seeking applicants with experience in service-oriented, project-based learning. A teacher within this role would be expected to design and implement learning experiences that are multidimensional, collaborative, and differentiated in addition to bringing an empathetic mindset to the learning process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in Spanish and/or Education

Position: Human Resources Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Human Resources Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day foundational human resource operations, systems, and processes for the school. This role is responsible for ensuring competitive, equitable, and compliant compensation practices, alongside a benefits program that supports the well-being and satisfaction of employees. The Manager will work collaboratively with the Business and Strategy Offices to align HR practices with the broader goals of the institution.
In close collaboration with school leadership, this position will serve as an important initial point of contact for employees. This essential role will be responsible for providing understandable and relevant information regarding benefits, compensation, wellness, and human resources related support for all employees. This role will use current and up-to-date best practices to create efficient, consistent, and transparent systems for employees.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
- 6+ years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 3-4 years focused on compensation and benefits management.
- Experience in a school or educational environment, with a thorough understanding of the unique HR challenges in education (e.g., academic year schedules, performance management for educators, etc.).
- Proven experience designing and administering compensation structures and benefits programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and budgetary constraints.
- Proficiency with HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems), compensation management tools, and benefits administration platforms.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, especially those relevant to educational institutions, such as teacher contracts, pay scales, and benefits compliance.
Essential Duties:
- Generate reports on human resource trends and metrics as requested by the school leadership.
- Support the recruitment and retention efforts of the school by attending job fairs, conferences, posting positions, and deliberately working to create a pipeline of qualified candidates for faculty and staff roles.
- Collaborate with learning and development and the business office on HRIS system selection and implementation
- Oversee all human resources foundational functions (open enrollment, worker’s compensation, FMLA, leave requests, etc.) for the school.
- Coordinate all compensation and benefit processes.
- Coordinate all application tracking, resume distribution, and job postings to assure that the most qualified and balanced candidates are secured for all open positions.
- Coordinate interviews, demo lessons, presentations, and any other needs related to applicant experience
- Collaborate with school leadership on listening sessions and focus groups to compile qualitative and quantitative data to inform strategic decisions and institutional initiatives.
- Collaborate with the learning and development department and managers on on-boarding needs and processes including new hire orientation.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Business Operations Coordinator who will be responsible for the efficient and effective administrative operations of the business and strategy departments of the school. This role will leverage creative problem-solving and expertise to provide comprehensive support to the Business Office in its day-to-day financial functions as well as provide support for organizational strategy and accreditation processes. This role plays a pivotal part in streamlining operations across these functions and coordinating key programs that drive the School’s mission and growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution preferred.
- At least 5 years of prior business office, operational excellence, or administrative support experience in a busy and competitive environment working directly with financial and business activities
- Problem-solver, attention to detail, and collaborative.
- Understanding of the unique nature of a school-based work environment (academic calendar, daily schedules, etc.)
- Previous experience in non-profit or independent schools preferred.
- Technical proficiency required, especially with database applications, Google Workspace (Docs, Calendar, Sheets, etc.), and Microsoft Office. Familiarity with BlackBaud, Finalsite Enrollment (SchoolAdmin), and Clarity (Financial Aid) a strong plus.
Essential Duties:
- Supports Financial and HR information related to the school (e.g. accounts payable/receivables, collecting, verifying, depositing all monies collected, write receipts, documentation for payroll, etc.) for the purpose of providing required documentation and/or processing information.
- Processes financial information (e.g. purchase orders, accounts payable, payments for officials/security for athletic events, etc.) for the purpose of updating and distributing information, authorizing for action and/or complying with established accounting practices.
- Maintains financial records for the purpose of ensuring completeness, reconciling financial data, maintaining accurate account balances and complying with school policy and established regulatory guidelines.
- Requests quotations from vendors, warehouse, and/or school office staff for the purpose of providing cost information, purchasing and securing items; assists the Director of Purchasing with contract administration.
- Researches discrepancies of financial information and/or documentation for the purpose of ensuring the accuracy and adhering to established procedures prior to processing.
- Responds to inquiries of staff regarding financial procedures for the purpose of providing information, direction and/or referral for addressing inquiry.
- Assist with the annual audit processes
- Coordinates the completion of all annual surveys for professional organizations (NAIS, PAIS, ADVIS, etc.)
- Ensures compliance with all required documentation.
- Provide administrative support, effective communication, and collaboration to school leadership, including calendar management, meeting preparation, and correspondence.
- Assist in preparation of agendas, materials, and reports for cross-departmental meetings for the School’s leadership team and Board of Trustees.
- Managing documentation, timelines, and communication with accreditation bodies while ensuring compliance with all requirements and coordinating meetings, reviews, and submissions.

Malvern Swim School Instructor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a swim instructor who enjoys working with children. Potential candidates must be prepared to learn and instruct children in the pool as directed by the swim school director using a learn-to-swim framework designed to advance children through the swimming process. Applicants should be comfortable handling and working with children ages 3- 12. Applicants are expected to be consistently available at least two days a week, Tuesday - Friday weekdays from 9:00 - 2:00 and Saturdays from 10:30-2:30 September through May. Additionally, they should be available for at least 1 summer session in early June from 9:00 - 2:30 Monday-Thursday. Most importantly, this individual must be available, reliable and punctual as scheduled.
Qualifications:
● New instructors are encouraged to apply; 1-5 years working with children (preferred)
● Swim Instructor and/ or Coaching experience (preferred)
● CPR, lifeguard or Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certification (preferred)
● Ability to have current (dated within a year) clearances (required)

We are currently in need of a Van Driver for the 2023-2024 school year to help with athletics transportation from 3pm-7:30pm. Most days will consist of a drop off and pick up for our rowers at Conshohocken Rowing Center (Fall M,T,TR,F / Spring T,W,TR,F)
Daily Rate: $60.00

The new head coach will oversee our freshman team under the guidance and system of our varsity coaches and program.
