Head Diving Coach

Position: Head Diving Coach
Reports to: Athletic Director / Head Swimming Coach
Department: Athletics
Status: Head Coach
Location: Various
Job Summary: Malvern Prep has an opening for head diving coach for the 2022-23 season. The new head coach will oversee our upper school and middle school divers under the guidance of our varsity swimming coach. Lastly, and perhaps most important, it is essential that the Head Diving Coach believes in the idea that we put team goals before our own, where we are “One Team All In.”
Qualifications:
- 1-2 Years Coaching or Equivalent Experience
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Available to help with van transportation
- Current (dated within a year) clearances
Essential Duties:
- Sets a positive example for our students
- Works collaboratively with the associate athletic director, head swimming coach and athletic director
- Practice and game schedules run Monday through Friday. Some Saturdays required for championships and invitationals from November 15-February 28.
Competencies Required:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and effectively with other team members.
- Good team player and very reliable in working without close supervision.
- Passionate about actively supporting the School’s mission.

Assistant Rowing Coach

Position: Assistant Rowing Coach
Reports to: Head Coach and Athletic Director
Department: Athletics
Status: Immediate Opening
Location: Various
Job Summary: The assistant rowing coach will be responsible for working with our novice program and work in conjunction with the head coach for other designations as needed.
Lastly, and perhaps most important, it is essential that the assistant rowing coach believes in the idea that we put team goals before our own, where we are “One Team All In.”
Qualifications:
- Some Coaching / Rowing Experience Preferred
- Available in the afternoons from 3pm-6:30pm, Monday to Friday
- Available for regattas on the weekends
- Current (dated within a year) clearances
Essential Duties:
- Reports to practice on time
- Sets a positive example for our younger rowers
- Teaches our younger rowers the basics of safety and success on the water
Competencies Required:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and effectively with other team members.
- Good team player and very reliable in working without close supervision.

Middle School Head Track & Field Coach

Reports to: Head Coach and Athletic Director
Department: Athletics

Job Summary: The head middle school track and field coach will oversee the 6th, 7th and 8th grade team members and help foster development in the spirit of competition. The middle school track & field coach will work with the upper school head coach to teach skills and concepts consistent with program philosophy.
Lastly, and perhaps most important, it is essential that the middle school track & field coach believes in the idea that we put team goals before our own, where we are “One Team All In.”
Qualifications:
- Some coaching and organized scholastic/club experience preferred
- Available 4 days per week - afternoons 3pm-5:30pm, Monday to Thursday
- Current (dated within a year) clearances
Essential Duties:
- Reports to practice on time
- Sets a positive example for our upper school lacrosse players
- Teaches the skills and fundamentals consistent with the varsity program
Competencies Required:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and effectively with other team members.
- Good team player and very reliable in working without close supervision.
- Passionate about actively supporting the School’s mission.
