Job Summary:
We are seeking an Upper School Mathematics educator that has both depth and breadth of content expertise to team with our Mathematics Department and Grade Level Academy Team. Applicants should have experience with student-centered educational practices, a broad array of assessment strategies, and be comfortable with teaching all levels of learners across all disciplines within Mathematics. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in higher level advanced courses as well as traditional Mathematics courses. An ability to teach Calculus would be highly attractive, but not a requirement for hire. S/he is expected to be proficient with various forms of communication and instructional technology. Middle School Counselor

Job Summary: The Middle School Counselor will work as part of a team to provide a variety of counseling related services to Middle School students and their families. Essential Duties:
- Executes a comprehensive counseling program that meets student needs; develops activities and resources to implement and evaluate the program; collaborates with staff in making decisions about the programs.
- Helps all students, individually or in groups, develop skills in the areas of personal/social growth, educational planning, and career development; implements follow-up actions as required.
- Work in conjunction with our Clinical Psychologist and Learning Specialist to optimize a student’s educational plan.

Job Summary: The Dining Hall Prep Cook produces fresh and delicious food while providing excellent customer service and a clean, welcoming environment to our students, faculty/staff, and guests. This individual will work with Chefs to ensure quality preparation of all menu items and storage of all food items. In addition, he/she will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and maintenance standards in and around the Dining Hall. Essential Duties:
- Implements innovative strategies to improve annual giving among parents, past parents, alumni and other supporters through annual giving (The Malvern Fund), Friar Club (athletics), EITC, and other fundraising vehicles.
- Manages all aspects of Malvern Prep’s annual fund process including segmentation of appeals, the annual appeal calendar, and the annual giving prospect pool, including direct mail, face-to-face, virtual, and electronic appeals.
- Manages the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program, identifying prospective participating companies, soliciting participation, and maximizing the financial impact to Malvern Prep.
- Increases contributions and gifts by directly and personally engaging in active stewardship, cultivation and direct solicitation of annual fund donors.
- Forges strong relationships with alumni, parents, and other supporters to influence and maximize contributions.
- Creates and manages a program for annual fund volunteers to include alumni and current parents.
- Collaborates with Marketing and Communications to create development marketing materials, mailings and publications, to include print, digital, and social media appeals.
- Interacts and works directly with the Development team to increase participation for annual giving.
- Manages a portfolio of annual giving prospects capable of making annual gifts of $1,000 or more.
- Conducts 12-15 meaningful prospect/donor touchpoints each month.
- Collaborates closely with other development team members to identify and reduce duplication and inefficiencies.

Job Summary: Applies professional knowledge and administrative skills to perform administrative and clerical duties in support of the Development Department at Malvern Prep. Supports Development staff and increases the efficiency of the department by drafting correspondence, scheduling internal and external appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, providing information and preparing reports, entering information into donor database, and all other administrative functions. Essential Duties:
- Performs day-to-day administrative tasks for the Development Team.
- Manages information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics documents on the Google Docs platform.
- Maintains strict confidence by keeping donor, prospects, and employee information confidential.

Job Summary: The Director of Stewardship & Events applies professional knowledge and skills to develop, manage and execute key school events and the donor recognition and stewardship process at Malvern Preparatory School. Collaborates closely with Development staff, Malvern Prep leadership, vendors, and donors in the production of events and in the timely recognition and stewardship of donors. Essential Duties:
● Uses knowledge, skills, and experience in the planning and execution of various events for Malvern Prep to include: golf outings, receptions (Blue and Silver Reception, Faithful Friars Reception, Scholarship Mass/brunch reception), BASH (“Building a Scholastic Heritage”) event, and various other receptions and events that arise for Malvern Prep.
● Manages all aspects of event planning, including venue selection, set-up and tear-down, program creation, catering, audio/visual requirements, overnight accommodation needs, parking, agenda management, speaker(s) preparation, weather contingencies, travel requirements, accommodations for handicapped access, and all other details for the successful production of Malvern Prep events.
● Manages all aspects of Malvern Prep’s recognition and stewardship process including identification of donors warranting recognition; coordination of Head of School, Board Chair, and/or Director of Development reach out to donors; design of plaques, signs, or other recognition; and the timeliness of recognition in relation to the gift.
● Implements innovative strategies to demonstrate Malvern Prep’s gratitude to donors for major gifts, the Malvern Fund, capital campaigns, Friar Club, and any other giving by alumni, parents, past parents and other supporters.
● Forges strong relationships with alumni, parents, and other supporters in recognition of their contributions.
● Collaborates closely with other development team members to identify and reduce duplication and inefficiencies.
● Assesses the quality and efficiency of the event production process by keeping relevant information, results, and statistics on all events and producing reports summarizing results.

Job Summary: The assistant rowing coach will be responsible for working with our novice program and work in conjunction with the head coach for other designations as needed.
Lastly, and perhaps most important, it is essential that the assistant rowing coach believes in the idea that we put team goals before our own, where we are “One Team All In.”
Qualifications:
- Some Coaching / Rowing Experience Preferred
- Available in the afternoons from 3pm-6:30pm, Monday to Friday
- Available for regattas on the weekends
- Current (dated within a year) clearances
Essential Duties:
- Reports to practice on time
- Sets a positive example for our younger rowers
- Teaches our younger rowers the basics of safety and success on the water

The new head coach will oversee our upper school and middle school divers under the guidance of our varsity swimming coach. - 1-2 Years Coaching or Equivalent Experience
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Available to help with van transportation

- Practice and game schedules run Monday through Friday. Some Saturdays required for championships and invitationals from November 15-February 28.

- 3-5 Years Head Rowing Coach or Equivalent Experience Preferred (Sculling)
- Available from 3pm-6:30pm, Monday to Friday
- Fall Season late August to early November
- Winter Erg Workouts beginning in December Monday to Friday 3:30-5:30pm
- Spring Season mid February to mid June
- Must be present at all regattas on the weekends in the fall and spring
- Fundraising experience a plus
- Current (dated within a year) clearances
- Familiarity will all US Rowing, PSRA and Schuylkill Navy a plus
Essential Duties:
- Reports to practice on time
- Sets a positive example for our rowers
- Oversees the varsity and novice programs
- Ensures all safety procedures are followed
- Responsible for hiring assistant coaches in collaboration with the Athletic Director
- Works closely with the Associate Athletic Director in matters related to overnight trips and transportation
- Fosters a relationship with boathouse neighbors, CRC and the Haverford School
- Oversees the inventory of all boats and equipment at the Malvern Rowing Center
