How to Apply

List of 3 items.

  • Complete all application documents

    Online Application
Parent will complete and submit the application. To access the application, click here. You will be prompted to create a username and password to access the application. Once you begin your online application, you will have the opportunity to review your application form as many times as you wish before submitting it. You will also have the opportunity to review your application requirements and check to see if all required documents have been received. An additonal Activities and Interest form must be submitted by your son. It is available on the checklist. Please complete and save it before submitting. There is a $45 application fee. If this will be a hardship for your family, please contact our Admissions Office.

    Two Teacher Recomendation Forms
These forms can be found in My Malvern. Click here to log in and access the Admissions Checklist. Parents will be prompted to complete information for the two Teacher Recommendation forms. Once the information is entered, the form will be sent via email to the two teachers you identified on the form. We prefer a Math Teacher and an English Teacher.

    Transcript Release Form
These forms can be found in My Malvern. Click here to log in and access the Admissions Checklist. A parent will need to download the form from My Malvern, sign, and submit it to the school counselor or principal at their son's current school. You son's school should then send the form with the student's official transcripts, conduct record, and attendance record to our Admissions Office.

    Extracurricular Recommendation Form (optional)
These forms can be found in My Malvern. Click here to log in and access the Admissions Checklist. Parents may ask coaches, mentors, et al., to complete and send to our Admissions Office.
  • Take Entrance Exam

Students must take a Malvern Prep Entrance Exam. Exam dates are listed on our Experience Malvern page. Register for your exam today.

If your son has an IEP, a 504 plan, or educational testing for an educational accommodation, for example, extended time on a test, please provide a copy of the report to the Admissions Office at least two weeks before the scheduled exam.
  • Schedule a Shadow Day Visit

After submitting the online application, you will receive a confirmation email with information on how to schedule a Shadow Day Visit for your son. We highly recommend you take advantage of this opportunity. On a Shadow Day Visit, we will pair your son with a current student so he can see what a day is like at Malvern Prep. At the conclusion of your son’s Shadow Visit, he will meet with an admissions representative.

You may contact us to ensure all parts of your son’s application have been received. You may also stay up-to-date on how complete your son’s application is through the creation of your online application account.
