    The Friars took down EA earlier this week at EA. Deuce Turner notched 26 points, TyGee Leach with 14, Rahdir Hicks with 11, Fran Oschell and Spencer Cochran with 9 apiece, Joe McElwee and Blaise Bekkedam with 4 points apiece, and Cooper Frankenheimer and Keith Carra with 3 points apiece.

    Swimming 106.5, Germantown Academy 78.5

    The Friars improved to 2-0-1 in the Inter-Ac League and 6-1 overall with a home win over Germantown Academy. Malvern swept the relays and had individual wins from Matt Magness (200 IM and 500 free), Ryan Maher (50 free), Nick Harris (1m diving), Jack Cassidy (100 back), and Ryan Durkan (100 breast).

    In the Friars' victory over SCH, Deuce Turner scored 19 points, Rahdir Hicks scored 19 points, Fran Oschell scored 15, while TyGee Leach and Spencer Cochran added eight apiece.

    Deuce Turner scored 24 points, Fran Oschell scored 20, and Rahdir Hicks scored 19. The remaining 20 points were scored by six different players.

    Swimming 93, Episcopal Academy 93

    The Friars hosted Episcopal Academy and the meet ended in a 93-93 tie. The Friars are now 1-0-1 in Inter-Ac League action. Nick Harris took first in diving with a score of 340.02, setting a new pool record. Ryan Durkan took first in the 100 Breast with a time of 1:00.62.

    Swimming 103, The Haverford School 81
    January 8, 2019
    The Friars took home the W in their first game of Inter-Ac competition against The Haverford School. The depth and 1, 2, and 3 place finishers in diving were the keys to the team's victory. Matt Magness was a quadruple winner taking first in the 200m free and 400m free and he was part of the winning 200m and 400m free relays. Ryan Maher, Lou Franzone, and Connor Cary were all triple winners, while Jack Cassidy was a double winner taking the 100m back and medley relay. Nick Harris, Trevor Henderson, and Marshall Beckett took 1, 2, 3 in the diving portion of the meet.

    The Friars led at every juncture of the game against Germantown Academy. The team led 41-27 at the half, and by the end of the third quarter, GA was down 74-45. Deuce Turner led the team with 24 points, Fran Oschell with 23, Rahdir Hicks with 15, Spencer Cohen with 13, Tygee Leach with 5, Joe McElwee with 5, Ashton Canavan with 3, Spencer Cochran and Cooper Frankenheimer with 2 each.
