    Love is all you need

    As I watched the Super Bowl a few days ago, I was surprised to see that a life insurance company ran a commercial on the four ancient Greek words for love: philia, storge, eros, and agape (pronounced ah-GAH-pay). In the Gospels that were written in Greek, when Jesus refers to love, the word the Gospel writer used was agape. Love God with all your heart and soul and mind and strength, love your neighbor as yourself, love one another as I have loved you, and in many other cases, it was agape, agape, agape.
