The CSItizen Speaker Series Presents: Audrey's Children
The CSItizen Speaker Series and Malvern Prep proudly welcome Julia Fisher Farbman, Writer & Producer, and Susan Campbell, CEO of Ronald McDonald House, for an inspiring conversation about the life of Children's Hospital of Philadelphia pediatric oncologist Audrey Evans.
Evans developed a staging and treatment system for neuroblastoma, raising the survival rate by 50%. Recognizing the need for housing for families whose children were undergoing extended treatment, Evans was a co-founder of the Ronald McDonald House along with former Eagles General Manager Jim Murray P’88 GP’16.
Join us on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at 7:00 in the Duffy Arts Theater to learn more about Evans' incredible contributions to pediatric oncology and her pioneering work in family-centered care.
This event is complimentary, but seating is limited and expected to sell out. Please register using the form below.
"The movie blends scientific discovery with courage and social advocacy. At its heart is the tension between cold clinical medicine and warm human compassion. Evans is portrayed as both brilliant in the lab and deeply empathetic at the bedside.” - Roger Ebert
