In Remembrance ...

The tremendous support we've received from our community and beyond reflects the deep connections Fr. James Flynn and Kevin "KT" Donohue '27 fostered throughout their lives. Members of our alumni network, parents, faculty, staff, and friends have reached out asking how they can pay tribute to them in a manner true to the values they embodied.

Working together with the Augustinian Province of St. Thomas of Villanova and the Donohue family, we have established meaningful memorials that celebrate their legacy and reinforce what lies at the core of Malvern Prep ... an enduring dedication to brotherhood.

Honoring Kevin "KT" Donohue '27

Kevin “KT” Donohue exemplified the very best of what it means to be a Malvern Prep Friar. Those who love him describe him as kind, humble, a great teammate, hardworking, and genuine, all qualities that every Friar should strive to embody.

In memory of Kevin “KT” Donohue, and in partnership with the Donohue Family, we are establishing the Kevin T. Donohue '27 Memorial Scholarship, an endowed scholarship to help deserving students experience a Malvern Prep education. This scholarship will ensure that students who live like KT will be given the lifelong gift of Friar Brotherhood.

Honoring Rev. James Flynn, O.S.A.

As many student-athletes will recall, Fr. Flynn's final team prayer would end with a petition: “Our Lady of Victory, Pray for Us.” These words were the rallying cry heard by generations of Friars before competition.

To honor Fr. Flynn and ensure his legacy remains a special part of Malvern Prep Athletics, the entryway patio to the Student Life Center will be named “Our Lady of Victory Plaza.” Your gift in honor of Father Flynn will support Our Lady of Victory Plaza, which will serve as a reminder of Fr. Flynn’s legacy and allow his impact to continue for future Friars.
